Restoration of Archaeological Sites

In recent years our company has undertaken the supply of marble for the restoration of archaeological sites all over Greece. Naxian marble has been used for the initial construction of those monuments thousands of years ago.

Projects include the Archaeological site of Despotiko island, the Tholos in the Sanctuary of Asklipios at Epidaurus, the Propylon of the Acropolis of Karthaia at Kea island, and the ancient theater at Milos island.

In 2015 we completed the supply of the Naxian Marbles for the restoration of the Tholos in the Sanctuary of Asklipios Epidaurus. In 2014 the company supplied marbles for the maintenance and restoration of the Propylon at Karthaia, whose overall project was awarded the 2017 European Heritage Award - Europa Nostra.
